Katsuya - Glendale - SBE in Glendale

I got the sashimi platter and a miso soup. The platter was beautiful and arrived relatively quickly. The place wasn't very busy nor was it very expensive compared to what I'd usually expect at a sit down in the Glendale Galleria. My table bought two rolls, a bowl of ramen, my miso and my platter and the total including tip was about 100 dollars. Would go back to this place again.

Katsuya is definitely my go to place. The service (Sean and Matt) and food are consistently fabulous. Have eaten there about 20 times since last March and keep going back because it is the whole package.

Great place with some great cocktails! It's not on the menu but my server Ashley recommended a drink called the dragon and it was awesome!

Had a blast at Katsuya the other night! Got two bottles of some nice reds, as well as some solid martinis! Great drink selection! Loved the rib eyes and the pan seared halibut! Our server Ashley recommended some great sushi!

Jane is the best! Ask to sit in her section.We got the Miso Cod and Steak Teriyaki, both were delicious.Service was quick and attentive.

I have never committed on any restaurants before and I decided to give comments to this place.It’s so awfully good. Last time I came here to celebrate my anniversary with bf, and I ordered this short rib. After that I have been trying to lose weight and every time when I’m hungry, I think of the short rib. It’s so damn good. Waiters are nice. I don’t know how those people who gave 1star thought. It’s a nice place highly recommend it. Just a bit expensive but I guess it’s worth it.

So happy this place is still open! I love coming here when I'm in the area, shopping and what not. I came here just the other night and Jane was our server. She was very attentive and we had the best time!

One of my favorite sushi spots in LA! Staff is so friendly and food is delicious. Jane was our server the last time we dined in and was just a delight. She suggested the Crispy Gypsy roll on the specials menu and it is my new favorite thing to order. Thanks Jane!

Really enjoyed the variety of unique flavors. We don't like fried, imitation crab or heavy mayonnaise based sauces and Got Sushi had a lot of choices to avoid those things. They were really busy so we had to wait about 1 1/2 hours for the food. Which is great, I'm glad they're getting business. The lemon roll was really delicious.

Love coming here with my girlfriend for date night. She loves sushi and likes how they have new specials all the time! I love trying new things so I enjoy the specials menu as well. We love to sit in Janes section, shes always so friendly and very efficient. Always gets us in an out if were in a rush.

Amazing looking food spot. Love the food, and great for week days and weekends. Love the sushi here! Very fresh, service is very good always. Sean helped us out last weekend. Parking is kind of difficult during the holidays so be prepared.

Overall a very nice experience. Katsuya makes high quality sushi and has many unique dishes. The only negative of this restaurant is their customer service, it could be much improved.

I love to come here for the salmon lemon roll, crispy rice, and the watermelon cucumber mojito! I was in for dinner on Sunday night and my server Ashley was outstanding!

Brought out the family to Katsuya at the Americana the other day. Usually go to the Cheesecake Factory but the line is always ridiculous. So we went over to Katsuya, and I don't understand why there isn't always a line there! What an awesome spot with great food for everyone! My husband was able to get a burger because he didn't want sushi. But I love sushi and our server Ashley had tons of great recommendations. Will absolutely be back!!

Came in tonight on a date and it was a perfect atmosphere. Our server Ashley had a great personality and was really funny! She had loads of options and with our allergies she was able to put in our food to the kitchen with no problems! We drank the "LVE" which is a Rose' I guess its John Legends brand! Date went great! Will be back soon!

Had a great time, a great night, the vibe during the holidays is fantastic. The service is great, the only drawback is that it's a little bit slow but not terrible. I sat upstairs and it's a nice view. The food was fantastic, the Beer was good, and everything was presented with class. I'd recommend this to anybody

Dining in for Happy Hour. Luis the bartender is very kind and have great customer service. Watermelon Cucumber Mojito is very delightful. Can’t stop drinking them. Sushi is very fresh. 1st time customer and it won’t be my last.

This place never fails to impress! The sushi is always fresh, the cocktails are crafted to perfection, and the service is great! I was in over the weekend and my server Ashley was awesome! She always knew right when we needed refills on our drinks and got us anything we needed in a very timely manner

I love this location mainly for the service. Christine is the best! She’s always super friendly and gets everything out super fast for us. She goes above and beyond and I always special request to sit in her section. Food here is great too but the unmatched service is what keeps me coming back.

Amazing experience. Will definitely be back. The food was incredible, but the service is what put it over the top. Christine was always smiling, attentive to our table, always made sure we had drinks, and just made for a terrific first visit. We will be back and will ask to deal with her for all the reasons mentioned above.

Luis T was a great server. My table and I got plenty of drinks which were amazing and food and the food is delicious! Our favorite drink was the watermelon mojito and our favorite dish was definitely the albacore sashimi with crispy onion. Can't wait to come back. My friend lives upstairs so whenever we do meet up, we make sure to go to Katsuya! And don't forget to go on Monday's and ask for Luis T for awesome service and 50% sake bottles!!

Sushi sampler, baked crab hand rolls, and ramen! Oh I also gotta give a shout out to the crunchy corn roll, that one is bomb! Our host Hanna was very courteous from our seats to getting parking validation! Definitely recommend her

First time at this location! We sat on the second floor patio. It was so nice once the sun went down. The second floor hostess, Hanna, was very welcoming and accommodating. Overall, great service and food. We will be back very soon!

Best sushi we’ve had so far! Had a great time with my husband and we both felt the need to leave a separate review because of the customer service. That is important to us and she deserves it. Christine was great. She was so nice, punctual, upbeat, and always checking on us throughout the night. Five-star service time go along with a five-star meal! We will definitely be back.

Visited Katsuya for dinner last night and was pleasantly surprised! I got the stead teriyaki which was cooked to perfection and a delightful cocktail called the Katsuya fresh that was recommended to me by my server Ashley. I will definitely be back soon!

I adore this venue very much. It has a romantic mood. The meals are great. the service is dynamic and the team is polite. The pay is reasonable. I definitely recommend.

This on of my top 5 Sushi spots in Los Angeles, plus the amazing location the food is great, and the staff are friendly, i started with baked crab roll than Katsuya Roll and kept the best for the end the world famous Miso Black Cod 👍

This is by far one of my favorite lunch or dinner spots when I go to the Americana. I always ask for my favorite server Christine. She is always so friendly and on top of things. Gives great recommendations and we always appreciate her suggestions to try something new. The food is delicious and it’s nice being able to have outstanding service on top of that.

Food was excellent.Mostly great appetizers. I would go with what everyone has recommended so far in the comments like crispy rice spicy tuna, albacore onions, and the rock shrimp. Rolls are great as well. I understand this place is very busy but Sean was a server a friendly waiter. Can't do any better for a sushi spot!
